Zwipes duster review
Complete POS.
I was at AZ getting an upper radiator hose for my 71, decided to check out the dusters since my ~ 10 year old California Car Duster was looking really skanky. Saw that the Zwipes said it used no chemicals, so it wouldn't streak like the CCD can sometimes. Decided to try it.
Complete waste. I can see that it works by generating a static charge, but it works equally well at repelling dust as attracting it. So when I wiped the roof of the Z, it just pushed the dust into the crevice that goes across the roof. Kept using it thinking maybe it needed to break in or build a charge. Nope, no better.
Then I gave it a go with my decade old CCD, and it went to town, picking everything up, even the crapp in the roof crevice. Well, there went 10 bucks. I'll be buying a new CCD soon and hope the mop head can transfer over to my now classic wooden handle.
