Default 30x10.5x15 Hoosier Radial Slicks...

They fit! We also cut a bunch of weight out of the car to make them fit, a whopping 3.8 lbs of metal combined with rubber. Here's a sneak peak:

Cool

If I had bought that car that was one of the things I was considering, a tall tire to make it's non lock up/non overdriven 3 speed and 4.10 geared rear more 'street friendly', I don't do the trailered car thing.

Alex: Im going to run the 4.11's still and run the brake up higher see if I can hook on these guys. I cant go above 4000 on the tbrake or it breaks loose. The new tires are more for the future plans of the car.

We'll see what happens at etown weds.

I wont need spray with the new motor. However, we are so booked that I won't be able to touch my car other than little b/s stuff until the fall at least.

Thats the tire I ran with my combo, your gonna like them Matt. Don't be shy with the air pressure, they like it, remember there a radial not a bias tire. I think you'll find they sixty better, they mph better, and they are much more stable on the top end than a bias tire.

They sell two versions of the tire, the 30/10.5R-15 lightweight radial(C06) compound that weighs 23lbs. And the 30/10.5-15 radial (C07)compound that weighs 26lbs.

The lightweight is a good tire for cool spring and fall racing with the softer compound. The (C07) radial is a good summer heat tire.

Good luck with them, you won't go back to a bias tire after running these.
