Default Dash on Tahoe starting to Peel and Flake

Hey guys,

The wife's Tahoe's dash is starting to flake and peel every so slightly. Is there any kind of glue or transparent sealant I can apply over those spots to keep it from spreading? You would figure that GM could make a dash hold up (only 55k on the clock) but I guess not. I wont get into the fact that GM thought it was prudent to paint the volume **** so that when you turn it on and off it wears the paint off.

Thanks.

Well I don't have an answer for you but our '02 Hoe is doing it too. It's not spreading any but it just looks like the previous owner scratched it up pretty bad. It sucks b/c the plastic is painted tan and underneath it's black!

Same here. There is black underneath the tan. It will not be too bad if I can stop it from getting worse.

What if you try a little super glue/clear epoxy?

I may try the super glue thing. Anyone else have any ideas?
