Shift lights general q's
Are these pretty much universal LS1/LT1 or are they specific for each car. Also how are these wired in, I figure it much play off the pcm because otherwise how can it determine when's the proper time to shift.
Well any help is greatly appreciated.

All shift lights are pretty much universal. Most of them need power, ground, and a tach signal and your done. i don't know where the best place to get a tach signal on our cars is but hopefully someone will chime in. either that or try a search if it's working.

Yeah all the shift lights are universal. On our cars you need power ground and the other wire for the tach singnal will go through the firewall to the white wire that comes off of the pcm its really easy to do it only took me like 15 minutes. Hope that helps.
