Default Benifits of removing A.I.R/EGR?

What can I gain from deleting my A.I.R and EGR besides more engine bay space? Is it fairly simple to tune out?

Your car will be a few pounds lighter. There is not much performance gains if any at all. About the tune I have no idea, I'm gonna be taking my A.I.R. and EGR off this weekend if my TSP duals get here on Friday.

cake to tune out if you have the ls1 edit, etc. take it to get tuned, or send your pcm to get them tuned out... the only thing you will gain is weight reduction and space and maybe a lil extra unburnt gas smell if your not running cats - will make your spark plug changes a walk in the park compared to before. and a few other things will be easier to work on.
