Default Difference between Pin on and Bolt on...

Im looking to be gettin a new SS hood soon and I was wondering the difference? Why is one better than the other...Thunderracing has pin on for 300$ bolt on for 520$...what makes it 220$ more? If u were to buy pin on can you use your stock stuff from your hood to work? Thanks let me know

no cause you would be using retainer pins to hold the hood on. it would not have hinges just four pins.

usually pin on hoods are lighter cus they are not really completed.

the bolt on has 2 sections (top and bottom) put together.

pin on, its just the top part
