cruces is ok. theres el paso and mexico close by. as for the track there is one by demming nm which is like 45min away and one being build in el paso thats like 1hr and 1/2 away.

weather summer is hot. average is 105ish. spring is cool and windy, fall is hot and winter is kind of cold with lowa being in the 20's dosen't snow much in cruces.

if your 21 there are a few good bars in town and lots of good ones in el paso and mexcio. there is also the casinos in ruidoso nm thats pretty nice. the senery there is very nice. all forest.

when do you know if ur moving down here?

Not a whole lot to do in Cruces, but El Paso has some stuff. Mexico is always interesting. You'll find some great clubs and very nice women there. That's if you're into mexican women.

Weather is hot during the summer but great during the winter. I remember doing a cam swap in December in T-shirt, shorts and sandals . VERY DRY. I see you're from Forth Worth. You're going to be investing in skin cream for awhile until you get used to it.

There is the Deming track and as stated above there's suppose to be a track being built around summer time. There is "Desert Demons" in El Paso. Not a strip but if you're into street racing it's a legal venue to do it. There are clocks on fridays but only ET's and no slip.

HMMM. Well the heat is not a problem I lived in Houston for three years and that + the humidity is a whip.

At the tracks is it outlaw 10.5 racing or is it street cars ? Is there a link to a website of theres ?

Is there any loical message boards for that area that way I can get in contact and network with folks?
