Good So Cal Tranny Shop?
As the post says I'm looking for a real good tranny shop in socal.
It's been some what of a mission finding someone to build a 4160e that'll hold anything.
Let me know if you guys have any reputable shops?
Thanks

Call the Toy Shop in Pomona, they are probably the best IMHO.

Early on I built a couple.
After some experience with them we have decided that it was in our best interest to subcontract our transmissions.
As of yet I havn't found the shop that can reliably produce good trannies and stand by there work.
Havn't tried the toy shop yet, but it seems that i will be very shortly.
Does anyone have there #.
Thanks

if i were you i would call mikes transmission in lancaster,
but saying you want a 4l60e to take anything is it like saying you want a 700r4 to survive a 1.2 60', i would go with an 80e if you want to keep the overdrive.

I am very aware that the 4160e has its limitations as with anything else.
My point was that some of the tranny's i subcontracted literally didn't hold anything meaning bone stock cars.
Thanks for the help guys.
