YOu need to drop the K Member to do it right. It is not easy at all and would require an alignment on top of everything. 400.00 ain't bad for the work involved.

get Katech rod bolts and I'm pretty sure you don't need to resize or align or anything like that. They are stock "blueprinted" so they are the same size and weight, just stronger.
