Default Chevy II Nova shorty headers - finally!

After searching and searching thru stock manifolds and headers I found some that fit. My car has a TCI front clip, Car Shop motor mount adapter plates, 1998 F-bdoy LS1, and Chevy van tilt column. I hooked the steering shaft up with Borgussen joints. I found that Hedman tight tuck header number 68520 fit just right. The passenger side is still tight because of the steering but they fit great. I guess I wish they were long tubes but at this point I will live with the shorties. I am just glad I found some that fit! There is plenty of room for clutch linkage (which is next). These should work with a Heidt's clip and more than likely a stock front end. If there are any questions please ask so maybe I can help you out.

What a coincidence I just tried my Hookers shorties yesterday and they fit the TCI as well. Glad to hear those worked out. Do you have a power rack? What are you doing for accessories? Thanks,

Jimmy

Those look really good too. I do have a power rack. I am using the factory F-body accesories except for the A/C. Needs to be high mounted on the passenger side though. The rest fit perfectly.

Here are so a/c brackets you might want to look at.

Thanks for the suggestion on the A/C brackets. They would be perfect for a 3rd gen Camaro but I am planning to use a Sanden compressor to work with Classic or Hot Rod air.
