Default top speed of convertible top?

Has anybody ever figured out the top speed of a convertible top..the hard way?
Is there a way to stop the top from balloning at high speeds?

I think you would have an increase of drag with the top down.

IMO Vert's are more for cruising, i have only seen less than a handful of drag only vert's.

Not bashing, they are nice cars.

Who cares, I've only hit really high speeds with the top down. hit 150 on the way to school yesterday top down, felt pretty damn stable for completely stock. I don't want to know what would happen the hard way with the top up.

And I would agree that verts are more for cruising. In reality thats why I bought mine. I wanted a fast car that wasn't going to see track time and take out on nice sunday drives.

If you have the top up leave the windows up to then you wont have anthing to worry about. I hit 147 top up windows down. still stable.
