Default Dyno #'s @ 5500 RPM

Due to the belt coming off at 5500rpm we were only able to make 4 pulls, before I got tired of putting it back on every time.At 5500 RPM and 8 psi it made 620rwhp and 540rwtq.Not to bad and there is a lot left.So far the automatic is working great.Hopefully we have the belt issue taken care of and I have to get a tighter converter, because it blow's through this one.

Very nice. Great power for only 5500 rpm pull. What belt? The Alt belt? Why? What type of converter? What type of gas?

Good luck and keep us posted.

They made a custom bracket for the altenator, but I noticed when he was making a pull and the belt jumped half way off,the idler pulley was wobbly. We replace it today and so far so good. The converter i have is a Yank ss3600.It is not designed for FI,so I screwed up on that! As far as fuel it was on Amoco 93.

Makes sense now. You are doing 620rwhp on pump gas - at only 5500rmps. Even more impressed

It's not procharged. It has twin turbo's. He only ran up 8 psi, due to the BOV springs at 8 psi, and the belt jumping off. He just needed a quick tune in order to take it to a Rod Run up at Pigeon Forge, TN. He'll be tuning with some real boost once it comes back.

Pics. of his set up can be seen in the Southern Section.

Definitely not N/A or a Vette. It's a white SS. That's pretty funny.

Nice #'s!! Just a question, do you really expect to see peak #'s higher than what you have going above 5500rpm? Just asking because on my dyno I hit peak hp at around 5200rpm. On your 5500rpm pull was the hp still climbing?
