Default Does a spun bearing destory anything? (as in cant be reused)

my friend spun her bearing in her LS1, i took the engine and i just need to know if its fine to reuse the crank and block? (if i send it to a machine shop first. of course)

does the spun bearing make anything unreusable?

my plans are forged internals with reusing the stock crank and stock block (small overbore)

Yes it's fine. Usually with the spun bearing though they end up having to turn the crank and milling a small amount off(depending on how severe it was). You just get oversized bearings to compensate for it. If it was bad enough though the crank would not be reusable.

Usually the connecting rod gets messed up.
