Default 383 finally done, ut oh!

i finally have my 383 done. i have driven it about 200 miles so far and i go to look at the oil level and the oil is milky, looks like a gasket, so i changed the oil twice and ran it for 10 minutes inbetween and the oil looked fine, so i ran it for another 10 minutes and it looks like the oil looks good. i am a little confused. could it be a fluke? has this happened to anyone else?
