Florida Members - new meet for orlando area

ok, so im starting a new meet in the orlando area, looking for suggestions on what people would like to see.... i.e parking garages, lots, pulls on the highway, corporate parks... im thinking weeknight to be unique, but i want a mature turn out, low drama, low rice, 300 hp and up cars...

I'm in for a meet if it's anywhere north of Orlando. I was thinking maybe a Saturday drive over to Tampa since the weather's gettin' nice.

Sounds good. I would be leary about doing pulls on the highway, just because of the possible consequences. I would watch and video people doing pulls though.

Weeknights arent very unique considering there are quite a few meets, or at least on wednesday. Im all game for this, but monday would be a bad night for me, usually working.

Mike and I just got back from the steak & shake apopka cruise.. pretty good turn out...

were would i find out about the meets?

ricers dont meet up till late. If it wasnt 3:45 and I just got home from work, I might be out there messing with them.

the meet on sand lake and at sams club on OBT at like 11 pm, next saturday lets meet and do some cruising...hopefully the SS will be ready, if not im still game to drive the DD to a meet.

Be careful about the Sams club now. Couple weeks/months ago cops would only go in and park to break it up. I read on another board about them trying to bust everyone in there lately, at least the people that were doing the doughnuts and burnouts. If you go, park in the UTI Parking lot and walk over. Youll be good then.

If I'm out at the west end of 50, is there a better way to get to Orlando then going on 50? Orlando isn't that far away for me, but I seem to always hit stop and go traffic in a few places, takes me more time to get over that way then it should.

if you take the turn pike to 408 that will take you anywhere you want to go in orlando that is the way i have to go cause i live in clermont area

There are a few places in the Longwood/Lake Mary area to meet. Paul that place we do donuts, I don't think it's large enough or well lit enough for a meet. Plus I think the LM fuzz would love to bust that up. Same area tho there are still a ton of places.

When Snailbreak was around we used to meet in the parking lot of Gators/Steak n' Shake on Lake Mary Blvd. Never had any problems with the cops, they usually just stopped by asked what was going on and got on with their business. Plus it's large enough for a good turnout and there is food and beer in walking distance. That parking lot/shopping center is for Seminole County Sheriff's to patrol and they have always been a lot more chill about car meets than LMPD

...ill be willing to join in any night of the week... As long as no one starts racing on 434... thats not a good idea...

Supposidly from what i heard from people that went there all the time, they found a dead body and after that they don't let cars or even bikes back there anymore. Its a lil extreme of a story, but these guys were regulars there so I dont doubt them.
