Default What's it worth? 02 WS6 Ram Air

I've been watching this car since day one.

A 50+ year old foreman where I work bought a brand new black 02 WS6 TA T-top 6 speed.

Never in the rain, never abused, bone stock, has 19k on it now. I tell him all the time that when he is ready to sell it to give me dibs.

Just wondering what it is worth, even though it will probably be 10 years before he might sell it.

Right now its probally worth around 17-19 K MAX, Dont get my wrong I LOVE F bodies but for some reason they just dont hold value, If your goin to drop over 20 K for that car your better off gettin a C5 vette

+1

F-bodies also are more prone to killing your wallet with "little problems" than the 'vette is when they get up there in miles.

KBB on that car in MD is 18,955 private seller excellent condition which it sounds like it is. The 02's especially the SS's and WS6's, Firehawks, etc. hold their value better. Not bad for a 5 year old car. I don't see how their value has dropped that much at all.

Sadly, our cars aren't worth as much as we would like. However, we own them to love them, not to make money off them. Right? A Dealer will ask as much as 24K for a car like this. I wouldn't think it was worth less that 18K. The black is the most popular color. I think other colors or CETA would be worth more with the same specs.

F-Bodies DO hold their value pretty well in comparison with most cars.
