2002 WS6 with stock LS6?
Link to claim
Is this true or utter BS?
"Engine Details
5.7L LS6 V8 with a 6 speed manual transmission & Ram Air intake system making 405 horsepower, yes, its a LS6 and not a LS1, this WS6 is 1 of 25% of 2002 WS6 Trans Ams that secretly had the LS6 block installed. Its cleaner than that nice country air lol. "
If it's utter BS - anyone with proof wanna create an account on that site and call him out in the forums?

They didn't make any F-bodies with the LS6 engine, although a whole bunch came with LS6 blocks. There are big differences between the two, not the least of which are heads, cam, probably pistons and rods, misc. hardware, etc. (and, more definitively, the code "LS6" instead of "LS1" on the build code sticker) So no, he doesn't have a factory stock LS6 engine, just an LS1 with an LS6 block. (LS6 intake too) Who really cares though, dude? If you're so interested in "calling him out", why don't you do it? He's just proving his ignorance.

I have a ls6 block in mine. There was a write up on it in GM high tech a couple of years ago. He still has the ls1 cam, heads and everything else, except the intake which all 01+ ls1 vehicles got.

Thanks guys. What was the stock power + torque + ET on that motor? What ET could he expect with slicks? He's listing 415HP ( stock ) and 12.32 @ 115, which sounds like a radials pass due to the high MPH for that ET. There's no way a stock WS6 runs 115mph on radials, correct? Can it do it on slicks though?

Just leave him be. He obvoiusly doesn't know any better. He probably thinks a block is the whole engine. I thought that too at one point. But then when I turned 6 months old, my dad taught me the difference.

The guy is a tool. He either, a) has no clue what the hell he is saying, or b) is trying to make people who don't know any better think that he has something that he doesn't actually have.
Either way, I'd just ignore the clown.

You gotta admit, it's pretty funny. Anyone who actually knows better knows it's BS, and anyone who doesn't probably doesn't even know what an LS1 or an LS6 is anyway.
You're joking, right?
