Default K&N Air filter

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2118

I currently have a plain white air filter (fairly new) and was wondering if a K&N would make a noticable difference in mileage

edit- Im looking for easy to install bolt ons that give better mileage and possibly a slight increase in power

It's highly unlikely you'll see a difference in MPG or power. To better your MPG, your best bet is to use cruise control more often.

no you probobly wont feel any difference or notice change in MPG, on the other hand an aftermarket air lid would give you better MPG and power by allowing the engine to breathe better

When I bought my SLP I also bought a new filter, k&n one, because I needed it.

I don't really notice a difference.

I would skip the K&N filter.

As for the lid, if you're looking for a V6 lid, I know Whisper makes them for the 3.8L.

save your cash and get a V8 why mod so much just to get where the other is stock

and the flowmaster will decrease your power, 80 series flowmasters are very constricting. get a cutout or go tru duals

K&N is good but they say HOLLEY is better
