Brake line: 4.5mm & 6mm vs. 3/16" & 1/4"?
Hi all,
I'm swapping '02 LS1 brakes (f/r, along w/'02 master cylinder) on my '85 Trans Am, and I will have to bend new hardlines due to modifications under the car. I had read somewhere that the newer cars use 4.5mm and 6mm brake lines, which is what the LS1 body style uses, correct? In my '85, there was 1/4" line from the MC to the T's, and then 3/16" from the T's to the calipers. Is there place to buy rolls of 4.5 & 6mm brake line, or can I use 3/16" & 1/4"?
