What goes here/is this?
OK, I don't have a pic of my motor, but if it comes down to it, I can go try and get one.
The pic below is a generic pic I found via google, but it doesn't have what I'm questioning about. The item is a cylinder, made of plastic, with an electrical plug, it has two 3/4" hoses coming out, one leads twords the back of the motor it seems and the other goes just up and has a small filter shoved in it, acting as a breather. It's not belt driven, and it's just bolted to the block with rubber bushings to keep vibration down (I assume). Is it my charcoal canister? If so, question answered.
If it's not my charcoal canister: What is it? I recently edited out EGR and AIR (not that I have an air pump I've come to find out), can I now remove it?
Again, if my description isn't enough, I can try and get an actual pic of what I"m talking about.
Thanks

I see I see. Well guys, you've made me happy lol Because.... not that I did it, but someone did. It's down by the harmonic balancer, because it's brackets kinda broke, and is chillin there, zip tied to the swaybar I think lol I knew it wasn't supposed to be there, but this makes things much easier.
I think assume that line going to the back of the motor leads to part of the EGR system? What do I do with that hose? Put the breather filter in it, or plug it till I remove the EGR?
Thanks again *dances*

better yet, leave it there, and wire it in for use with an electric water pump.

The only thing in my intake elbow (aftermarket alu, in sig) is my air temp sensor. Remember I run a 93, so my EGR might be diff, I don't remember seeing any EGR plumbing under the motor. I have yet to look through everything though, pertaining to the EGR. I only got my chip in and working last week
