Default YellaTerra install

I am putting in some Yella Terra rockers. the instruction say some installs use the supplied washers. Does the LS1 use the washer?

It depends on the preload your looking for. If your using stock lifters that can handle a good bit of pre-load, then you may not need the washers. However, if you were running Morel's, you'd deffinatlly want them in, due to their light pre-load reccomendation.

I thought the washers were to set the wipe pattern on the valve stem not the lifter preload. Once the wipe is set, you can figure out the pushrod length that will give the correct preload.

Individual setups will vary. I did not need the spacers when setting mine up.

BTW Not too many fellow WV's here..
