Default single adjustable or double adjustable?

I'm looking at getting a set of Qa1 front struts with a 300 spring rate. But what is the difference between single adjustable and double adjustable?

The single adjustable effects both the compression and rebound setting at once. The doubles allow you to adjust compression and rebound independent of each other. For example with the single adjustables if you set the shocks softer it softens both rebound and compression.
