lt1 throttle body???
hey guys... i have a 97 formula with mostly bolt ons.... headers, no cats, catback, ram air, i was wondering if i put a bigger throttle body on if it would do anything for me... or if id have to change injectors and fuel pump.. i believe the stock lt1 is the dual 48mm, i didnt know if i got a 52mm if it would do anything significant for me i think the 58mm ones are for power adders and strocker motors and such if im not mistaken... can anybody help me out with this...

Stock intake manifold opening is only 52mm so if you go any bigger then you will have to bore it out. Honestly on your car its not going to do much but if you wanna go 52mm then you might see 5rwhp. Some have claimed it and also say you get an increase in throttle response from it. No you won't have to mess with injectors or fuel pump.

I just found that earlier today, and let me tell you, WHAT A GEM! That'll make me doing my 58mm port so much easier.

Oh trust me, I don't have any real mods done, but that won't stop me from doing it, even since I already own it. Only because I know the gain I got on my TPI motor with it and I doubt anything was lost from it.
