Default G5x3 or G5x4

Like the title says. I was told I could fit the x4 under stock heads and it's on 111lsa and I want that lopey sound. What do you guys think? I want to see 4xx/4xx cam only and I know these cams will do it but which one would suit me better? I'll be putting heads on about 6 months down the road. Thanks

If all your trying to do is hit 400/400 you can do with cam only. I hit 400/395 with a 221/221 112lsa cam. Didnt have to rev the motor way out either. My idle was set at 900 because of my AL flywheel, but but you could still deff. tell it was a cam in the car.

Both of those cams will get you over 400 rwhp with the right bolt-ons, but don't expect to be over 400 lb ft of torque. Very few cam-only vehicles hit that. Typically, it takes a large jump in static and dynamic compression to do that (think ported heads). As mentioned above, you can definitely hit those numbers with a smaller cam and you may not have to spend so much time on the drivability tune.

like I said, go for the X4. I had the X3 on a 112 & the X4 111 and I cant even tell the difference between the 2 except the X4 has a little more pull on the top end. Both drive great......as long as the tune is great.
