Default What did you by with your latest deployment cash?

Well? Anything special? I was deployed for 8 months to Afghanistan.

What I did...

A BUNCH of fire works (returned last late June)
A LOT of beer!
BMR Tubular SFC's
BMR LCARLB's
BMR ADJ PHB
Eibach Pro kit
SLP Bilstiens
AR Rebels, 18x9 ft and 18 x 10 rear. GSD3's all around.

T56 Rebuilds 4B, Micronite and C/F syncro, LOTS more. (NEEDED!!!)
McLeod single clutch w/ master, 02 Slave
15% window tint
SLP Bowtie FT Grille
160* stat
CF Emblems for car, fill ins, nose and sides.
VHT for tails and side markers

Took about three weeks to throw all that in... Key here, don't buy more than $6000 worth of mods in a sitting. Once they flood in, it'll take you for ever to install them all!

Still currently deployed until May but so far I have bought the following
Greatest mod of them all- Paid off my car
Meziere EWP
ASP 25% underdrive pulley/balancer
Katech belt tensioner

and as soon as I get home I will be ordering a custum ground cam and install kit and once I get all that on the car Ill be getting the car professionally tuned

The rest of the extra money is going towards my other bills and just having some fun in general

No payment of federal taxes and hazardous duty pay are the only good things about a deployment. Not really making that much extra money, mostly just not spending what we would if we were at home

Yeah you do make some extra money but I think it has a lot to do with not much to spend it on. I know some guys go to the PX everychance they get but I didnt and was able to save lots of cash.

No bills and an extremely nice bank account on the order of 50K. Took 24 months to do it though.

Once I get back at the end of the month I'm off for another 6 weeks at San Angelo for NCOA for 6 weeks and plan on stopping at Texas Speed in Lubbock and getting their Terminator heads with a custom ground Cam from Patrick, ported LS6 oil pump, ASP under drive pully, 20% tint and a tune from TJ Wong in Portland, Or

I used my TDY money to pay off my credit cards from my head/cam swap!

But after the next trip...I'm thinking Textralia clutch, T56 rebuild trans, and a full Strange 12-bolt with 4.10s

I'll be doing a 383 short block, h/c, 90/90 intake, K member, Sways to finish the suspension, replacing my tubular SFC's w/ DD SFC's, and a Strange 12b w/ 3.73's..

Oh yeah.. and Weld Prostars w/ MT ET streets on teh back!
