Default Car hauler rental?

Anyone rented a car hauler from somewhere in the Houston area for about a 500 mile one way trip?

yea, its pretty ridiculous, if i had space to store a trailer i would just buy one, but paying monthly to store one isnt really worth it right now.

Uhaul is the only place I know of that will rent it one way. When I moved down from Tulsa, OK I moved a couple cars over a couple months. Both times Uhaul wanted 500+ dollars to rent a trailer from Tulsa, OK to Houston, TX. Their excuse is they have too many trailers in those cities so its costs more to get them/drop them there (blatent lie). They know thats where you will rent them from, so they jack the price.

What I did was rent it in Wagoner, OK and drop it off in Waller, TX. Added about 40 miles overall to my total trip, but the rates were under 100 bucks both trips, I think 86 on the first one and 94 on the second.

I would try U-Haul first. U-Haul told me no because I had rented a weakass Equinox.

Muskogee Oklahoma to Fort Hood was 89 dollars and I got to keep the trailer for 3 days. I found its cheaper if you reserve it online and only go one way.

Car shipping wise I had a car shipped from colorado to texas cost me alittle under 500.
