Default stock or mild carbed combos

i ran a 12.22 @ 109 1.72 60ft in about a 3000 pounds car, what kind of mph is everyone else running, 109 seems kind of low, stock fi cars are doing a lot better than that.

when i took mine to the track last year for the first time, it was a 3080lb race weight, 3.27's, 26" MT D/R's, stick, 3000rpm launch & granny shifting it, 6000rpm shift point, it ran 12.63@110.xx.

it was also efi at the time, just to give you an idea even though you asked about carb mph. that was the first & only clean/full pass i made with the car after buying it 3 weeks prior. hope it helps some.

mid 1.9x due to the soft launch. eventually got it down to a 1.72 with a 4500rpm launch, but blew the 2-3 shift and called it a day.

I am somewhat mild, heads/cam carbed ls1, th350, 4200 tci. Ran 7.06 @ 101mph on a single track rearend. Didn't find out I had blown my posi until i went to install my spool and the carrier shaft (between axles) had seized to the spider gear and twisted which broke the carrier pin bolt. I always knew something wasn't right when I would do a burnout and could only manage to get 1 tire to spin. Should have thrown a big red flag, but I kept on trucking.

Next time out I am expecting 6.50 - 6.70's on the same motor combo. I refabbed my headers (1 3/4) and ported the tubes @ flanges, ported the victor jr, installed a transbrake, installed a spool, finished my cage to 10 point, installed a safety loop, mini tubbed (tires rubbing bad on takeoff), installed full upr double adjustable upper and lowers with antiroll bar.

I think thats about all, I will keep posting with results hopefully next week.

I really wouldnt use mild and ms4 in the same sentence. Or a 4200 stall converter either for that matter. Not trying to stir the pot, but your setup is far from mild. It is still a badass car though. I like the way it looks and run damn good.
