So i guy i know may sell me his 2001 SOM WS6, 6 spd. and all black interior that i love (im not a big fan of that tan/ black combo). It has 29K miles and is bone stock and the car is in excellent condition. The negoting range is in the 23K $ range right now, he just wants what he owes on it, which is currently 23k? Is that a fair price given the EXTREME popularity of this rare sunset orange 6spd WS6, and the fact that market trends for them are way high. Help me out, what would you pay?

I think it is a little high, I didnt pay that for mine in 2004 with only 11,000 on it and mine was an 2002.....It depends on how much you want it though, they dont make them anymore and there are only so many, but I wouldnt go a dime over 20000 but thats just me for 23,000 you could get a vette a few more grand you could have a z06...

I wouldn't pay more than $20K. Seen lower mileage '02 SOM WS6 cars in the $21-22K range.

Keep looking. You may find one cheaper. If SOM one offered my 50k for mine I wouldn't take it. I love my car and color and don't know how someone could sell there's anyway

thanks guys, and yes i know i could get a vette, i had my eye on a 01 ZO6 w/ 43 K miles for 24K but i just didnt think i would be happy with it, I dont know why. I really dont like how all of those Z06s have the little window in the back and the trunk, yet i wouldnt want a base vette, lol. And it would probably get keyed my luck being only 18 here. A WS6 creates a cetain amount of jealousy already, a ZO6 would probably be crazy. Also, i have considered buying other already cleanly moded cars such as JOSHUA's extremely clean black 02 Firehawk for the 21K he is asking, but i just think that even tho id be saving so much $ on mods, in the end id still be jealous of SOM WS6s lol. I guess ill just keep looking for a while. I have a couple weeks until i sell the one i have now anyways.
