02 241 casting heads..what should i do with them??

Default 02 241 casting heads..what should i do with them??

hey guys i recently aquired a extra set of heads from an 02 z28, i have a 02 ss, im plannin on doin a cam in the future, like torquer 3 possible or the mti g1 cam....heads are stock, but what would u run parts wise, springs,lifters?? like anything and everything to run a beefy cam like those?? im gonna get them ported and such and specs on what to tell them when i do??? also what about rockers??? what i do about those i would like all input...im plannin on gettin ta ls6 ported oil pump seein everyone else thats cammed has htat and the LS2 timing chain..lemme kno guys, thanks...

i got a set of 241's for basically free.. im putting them on my 98 camaro (had the 806 castings).. i had the 241's milled .028 to get me the 63cc's i was looking for..

springs are up to you and your cam selection...

Run the stock lifters, Patriot dual coil springs, stock rockers, and the felpro .042" gaskets. Get the milled as much as you can and still have adequate valve-to-piston clearance.
