Question What Mods To Put On My Stock 1999 Camaro Rs

I just bought a stock 1999 camaro rs.My camaro only goes up to 125.I want it to go faster.What mods can i put on it?

can put some lower gears in it to give you a higher speed, but then its really goin to be SLOWWWWWWW as hell, +2 For drop a LS1 in there

If you want to stay with the 3.8 there are several companies, non-sponsors so I won't mention any names, who sale products ranging from strokers, heads, cams, turbo's, superchargers, you name it.

I would definitely sell it for an ls1. Save the hassle.

if its top speed you want (and i hope you are doing it on a track) then youll need to remove the governor, then get some performance stuff done.

on the other hand, if you want a fast 0-60 car then governor wont really matter, you want to lighten the car, and maybe spray.

either way, basics wont hurt: headers, exhaust, intake, gears, computer reprogram.

Well said.

I do agree the ls1 is easiest way to fix the want of more power and speed, but I do understand alot of people can't leave their current car for what ever reason.

Alot of companies will reflash your ecu so you have no governer, if that's all you want.
