Just wanted to say whats up to everyone I am new here to the Memphis area. I just transferred out here a couple of months ago. I don't know a damn thing about the area.

Wait they have a naval base in landlock Tennesse?

There is an Air Field about 20 min north of the Track that our C-130's land at, I think it's Army ran.

I drive a 99SS M6. I just got it about a month ago. It is bone stock right now. I need to do a couple of mods before i start taking it to the track.

Yes. The last base I was at was landlocked as well. I am the aviation type.

The Navy headquarters BUPERS is there at Millington (moved from DC). It's been an Air Station for years though. I went through there when I joined in '91.

I live close to Millington myself. Millington is a growing community with all kinds of places popping up out there. I live off HWY 51 about 10 miles from Walmart in Millington.

My 2001 Z28 automatic with crappy 2.73 gears ran 12.90s consistant...mods were Pacesetter headers, SLP lid, and a tune. These cars are cheap and easy to make fast.

Yes I live about 2 miles from the track.

That's good stuff. I would be broke living close to the Track cause I would be going there just about every night for T/T, and paying for the stuff that broke on the Car..:jest:
