Both are good heads quality wise. Neither are in the same catagory. Patriot is a more budget oriented head, while the TEA head will cost more and likley perform better.

I had great luck with TEA. Top notch work and sales. I actually ordered my heads and had them installed when they were installed the temp sensor threads were horrible. TEA refunded the money it took to reinstall them and the labor for the fix. THAT IS GREAT SERVICE!! Plus I picked up 50rwhp with the swap!

If you can afford the TEA heads, get them.

i found a set of TEA stage 1.5 5.3's for $1000. they have about 4000 miles on them. look brand new. i thought it sounded like a good deal but i hadn't heard much about them. i think i'm gonna buy them. i'm leaning towards the tsp torq 2 cam or the new slp high torque cam. does 430 rwhp sound about right with this set up? it will be with a 6-speed, long tubes and ls6 intake. some of the venegence cams sound good too. what yall think? i would like to see 430 to 450 rwhp but not have to turn it 7k rpms.
