Default clutch cable?

i was putting in my transmission and had just slid on the slave cylinder when the transmission sliped and fell. snapping the litle brass fitting next to the clutch cable. my question is would that be the slave cylinder i would have to replace or is that going to be the clutch cable? the pictures ive seen of the slave cylinder have the brass fitting on it.

Yeah the same thing happened to me and I simply went out and bought a new slave, because I wanted to get my car going asap. But the other alternative is to beat out the roll pin holding that piece in and get a new connection for that. There are a few people on this board that have them as supposedly the z06 doesnt need th at piece.
