Not good at all. I'm curious as to how fast they were going. Sounds like he didnt look before he changed lanes and goin that fast, got hooked to the 18wheeler.

He was my neibor.. I just got a phone call from his roomate. His name is bryan walsh. Im still in complete shock. I saw him and his buddy before they left lastnight. He actually talked to me for about 45 min yesterday while I was washing my car. No words can discribe the way I feel right now...

^^^ Sorry to hear about that. Condolences to the family. I had 2 really close friends driving to Lubbock from H-Town in a Camry a couple years back and passed an 18'er on the right. It was just before you get to 36 on I-10 I think. Car got flipped and absolutely demolished. Driver had a scuffed up shoulder. Nothing at all to the passenger. But yeah, if they really were weaving in and out of traffic going way too fast, there's not a lot anybody can say. But if it wasn't his fault, I would imagine that's a pretty bad way to go.

To be honest im sure it was his fault. He was a cool guy, but cocky on that bike. My other neibor who also owns a vette just got another 750 gixxer after totalling his lastone. His body was torn up pretty bad. I tried to convince him to fix up the vette rather than get another bike. Hopefully this will change his mind. Its the second time in the past 6 months someone I was friends with lost their life on their bike.

Thats why I don't like road bikes, especially crotch rockets. Not worth it imo.

My dad sold his harley to a guy he worked with. 2 months later the guy and his girlfriend got killed on it. Got t-boned by a girl not paying attention and talking on her cell phone.

wow, thats terrible. Im all for bikes and everything but it just doesnt seem worth it to me any more. Especially not in Houston. Too many crazy drivers and theres so many things that could happen to someone driving, especially on a bike.

Condolences to the family.

Bikes are dangerous when you ride safe. If you jack around you are just asking for it. It is a fun hobby but the utmost respect is required to survive. Sometimes..even that isnt enough.

That's the nice thing about living in the country no idiot drivers even not that was not the issue in this case. But you might also laugh at the opposite side of the coin. I have had two friends get killed by hitting damm deer at night. Although I told both of them not to ride past sunset they did not listen, but they do not have to worry about it now.

I feel bad for him and his family, but some people just dont have the smarts to own a bike. If you do enough stupid ****, its going to catch up to you eventually.
