Switch to non-emission headers..
hey guys,
I've removed the driver side manifold, and I just finished the passenger side, but there is a metal tube that is attached to it... I look at my Hooker LTs and I dont see these attaching anywhere.... what do I do about it? What is this metal tube? How do I get rid of it? Will it affect normal operation?
Can I still run the car without block-off plates?

It's the EGR tube. You have to block it off if your not connecting it to the headers. Easy way would be putting a block off plate on the end of it. Smart way would be tracing it back to the engine, disconnecting it, and put block off plate on engine. And get rid of all the EGR and A.I.R. system. Do a search before asking how to block it off or take off all the emissions crap.
