Talking Test Drive.. Holt sh** 95 V6 to V8 firebird swap

Well today I took the firebird for a spin... and all I have to say is DAMN.. I was around 40-45 when I punched on the throttle and the rear end was getting loose.. I was so happy with the results all my stock V6 gauges work except the coolent temp, (I think it might be the sensor) On the bad side, never buy Earls Performance Hyperfirm Brake Line kits..Because they are too short in the front .. I took a turn and I ripped the passenger side brake line and I was done with the test drive.. It sucked.. But the Ls1 is louder than all hell, This was worth every dime..

Cool. I remember feeling the same thing when I drove my first LS1 on the road.

My first F body was my camaro. When I got my formula it was a world of difference. I was similarly amazed. The only thing that took a while to get used to was the odd shifter pattern.

Where did you get the lines from? I was looking at getting those, so could you expand on your problem?

ohh well I got the brake lines at summitracing.com and The problem was that I have a tublar K-member and the stock mounting bracket for the hard line connecting to the flex line was too short.. so I took that bracket off and just used my drill press and drilled the hole back 3 inches... and now I am good.. But now I need to find out why my Ls1 is missfireing..

thanks guys
