There was a hotrod mag (i think) while back ran a stock 97 A4..3.23 gears i believe 13.8-13.9. Threw on basic mods..K&n something, airfoil/elbow, and some crappy flowmaster catback and knocked it down to 13.6

My car ran a 14.0 at 99.74 mph with cai, foil, catback, and free mods. But I have 2.73's, street tires, and a crappy 60' time..... so I would say low 14's but high 13's are possible for sure.

Saw a stock 97 SS running 13.8s on a decent night. I believe my 96 is right around there, if not a little faster.
Forgot to add my car is the SS with following performance-
Composite ram air hood with air box (light and more airflow)
2OTL exhaust w/ 3'' i-pipe (very high flowing for being a stock exhaust)
3.42 gears
6spd
All is stock stuff, but definatly makes a difference over other stock LT1s. I put several cars on stock LT1s and I have a heavy stereo system in the back.

You're looking at Low 14s to high 13s with some decent seat time. Every car and driver is different. There are too many variables to really gurantee you anything.
My advice is to give the car some serious loving (total tune-up) and take her to the track and run her for all she's worth. Then when you get home, start pricing out more go-fast parts

My 94Z ran 13.8 stock.
With Hooker LTs, K&N CAI, Ed Wright tune it would run 13.4 every time I went down the track. MPH would change slightly but it always ran 13.4 it was spooky.
Have not had it to the track with the new tranny/rear end combo.
