Default What Valve Springs for 7200 RPM shifts

I am running a pretty Big Cam on my new Setup. I am wanting to set my shifts on the 1-2 shift at 7200 RPMs & my 2-3 Shift to 7500 RPMs

Do they make a Valve spring that can handle these High RPM Shifts. I have Comp R Lifters & Aftermarket Pushrods..

I heard the Extreme Patriot Gold Valve Springs are good up to 660Lift..... Will these handle the High RPM Shifts & if not what do you suggest.

Thanks Guys
Seb

Are you sure your new cam will still be making power at that RPM? No sense in spining it that high if the power falls aff at 6700.

The cam should pull to 7200 RPMs pretty easy from what I hear. It is going in to a Forged Piston & Rod & ARP Bolt Motor Built 347, With TEA 1.5 Heads & FAST Intake. The cam Spec are simular to 248-252 & 650+ Lift on 112 Lobe Sep....

The Patriot extreme springs will handle that rpm provided you shim them to within .050" of coil bind. Some head porters recommending shimming them as tight as .030", but .050" is certainly acceptable. This will eliminate spring surge and extend spring life (not to mention increase rpm potential). Make sure you're also running Ti retainers. Above 7,000 rpm, light weight is critical.

Default Manley Nextek

You might want to look at Manley Nextek dual springs. They also make Ti retainers.

When I had my heads done, I saw lots of Manley products being used.
