the price is a little ridiculous, but if I had the money I would have definately would have bought it. I dont know how you can have such a baddass car and not drive it. I would understand if he was getting more than he paid for but he bought a car never enjoyed it and going to sell it for probably less than what he paid. makes no sense  , Im just glad he is selling it and letting someone do what the car was made for. :drive:

Nice, but I'd have to say the price is way too high because it's not a CETA. Had it been, then I'd be more suseptable to agree with the seller. Had it been a Formula, that's a different story, but seeing as it's different, it'd need to have all the options.. TA's are much more common.

That car has been for auction before, at least 2 other times that I know of. Ain't nobody paying for it while it's that highly priced. I think first time around he was starting it off at $45K. :loco:

Yea I saw this. I almost made my friend buy it, but his dad wouldn't let him because he's uber rich and is a car-elitist who thinks all Pushrods are primitive pieces of shit. He said "i'll never get you a Pontiac, plus it's a pushrod, which sucks" :( but then his dad offered to buy him a new E92 M3. He'd rather pay tons of money for the M3 than get his kid the cheaper american muscle-car that his sons wants.

Have the M3 line up against a LS7 equipped car.

By definition, pushrod design IS "primitive", but it's in no way inferior or inadequate! He just doesn't want his son to ruin his "I'm a smug, rich ass hole, look at my garage full of BMWs" image.

Tell him, to let his dad buy the BMW, then sell it, buy a Firebird Formula WS6, and transplant a LS7 with a 6L80E and a 9in. Leave it a nice daily driver except for those 3 things :) I mean, other mods are alright, suspension and stuff, but leave it a car, not a full out drag car, running slicks all the time. That ruins what a Firebird is all about!

He still won't sell it at this price. Nice car but it definitely hasn't been enjoyed.

haha thanks, guys. Yea seriously. But his dad would be very pissed if he sold it for a Trans Am. Although, if I was offered a new E92 M3 I would take it, too. :D Those fuckers are gonna be quick!

Way too high, and WTF was it with the guy bragging about the LS6 block like it was some kind of rare mod?

Uh did anyone else notice that on his factory sticker it says 4 speed automatic even though its advertised as a M6? Also he seems to be overplaying the LS6 thing.

Edit: Nevermind thats just the standard equipment, it says M6 below. Anyway yeah overpriced. Personally I am to the point where I would buy it if it had every option and was black though. I am itching to have a 2nd WS6, 1 for DD and 1 for mods.

Ah yes, now I remember that guy from when we posted last about him. Yea he's got some "god like car" with that LS6! Someone should inform him how the LT4 is a selling point in a 4th Gen, and the LS6 was fairly common in 01/02 :jest:

This is the exact duplicate of my car- including M6, color, and LS6 Block - I bought it from a Ford Dealer in Texas 2 yrs ago on E-bay. Someone had traded it in for a Pick-up! It had 5700 miles on it and was super clean - I paid 20,700.00 for it. Drove it back home to NJ

Even with 280 miles on it, it is way overpriced. Probably worth 25 or 26 tops

Too bad it's white. If it were Sunset Orange Metallic, then it would be really rare.

brand new the ws6 was 30-31k, he's not really that far off with his posted price, being a 6-speed car and all, one things for sure, it aint gonna be that easy finding one with that low of miles again. With miles that low, that car didn't even have one full tank of gas yet.

90% of cars, the Manual is the standard package and the Automatic is optional. HOWEVER the majority of cars COME with the Automatic anyways, which is why if you get one with a Manual, it's usually a couple hundred cheaper than the exact same car w/ the Auto.

I remember when this guy was trying to get 43K for it. He took the sticker price of the car and added some storage fees he claimed to pay over the years. Here is a link to a thread where he was getting bashed a little. He even posted here in this thread as well. Now he's down to 34K and still having a hard time selling it. I guess he gave up on getting reimbursed for the sticker price and storage fees

It's an old thread so enjoy it for the entertainment value but I would refrain from posting in it.
