I'm putting together a FI combo as well, and just went with the AFR heads myself, mainly because I got a good deal on them. I'm going for the LS2/NW intake setup. I know alot people dislike the LS2 manifold but I think it will work fine on FI plus it keeps the 90mm TB. I have a FAST/NW now but was told that the FAST going past 16 psi is risky to start leaking.

Honestly, I don't think your going to see a difference in a FI application. I thought I read these two heads were only a few HP difference from each (TFS had a few more) when tested on an engine dyno. AFR has seen some stout track numbers to though, so flip a coin and whip out the credit card .

TFS's haven't really been tested at the track too much mostly because they aren't as many out there right now. In a few months there might be some more testing and might see the differences in the two. The dyno wars have been leaning toward the TFS's although the dyno isn't where we race! I'll make you a deal on some 3500 mile AFRs so I can get the TFS heads to replace them if you like LOL! You won't go wrong with either head or intake combo. If you are using HP tuners or Edit I would do the Victor JR 90 combo, but if you are using a stand alone then I would use the LS6 IMO. Talk to you soon.

I sure wouldn't swap from AFR if you had them already, how much do you think you would gain from it? Why not throw ETP in the mix as well? My 5 year old absolute speed heads are doing a tremendous job, both dyno and track and will hold it's own against most other heads surprisingly. I got the AFR's for $1900 brand new still in the box or I would of been in the same situation on which head to get. For me it was a no brainer though .
I also see alot of FI people using Patriot 6.0L heads doing very well with them, and even stock truck heads, to bad they don't have a thicker deck .
