Default !evap, do I need a filter?

I have the evap tuned out of my computer and am removing the components from my engine bay (1995 LT1). Can I just cut the plastic evap line and push it in the wheel well or do I need a filter of some sort on the end? Thanks.

Put it somewhere directly on the Intake..all it does is suck Vapors out of the Canistor, not raw Gas like some old cars.
