there wont be too much of a difference at your power level. it wont hurt your times though, thats for sure.

Well power wise, with LTs and no cats you already have a somewhat free flowing exhaust, so I don't think it would be a huge benefit, it could help you pick up a few hp but it wouldn't be as significant an improvement as say on a stock car.

I'd say if you were to get one it should be for the sound if you want a louder exhaust.

on the dyno I didn't loose power, but I didn't gain it either by having the cutout open. But, it is fun on the street! The look on unsuspecting ricers faces is priceless! lol.

I get the same look with my true duels with the bullet mufflers.

Damn! Thats nuts.

I noticed a loss of torque in the lower rpms it felt when I had the cutout open.

I've since replaced my flowmaster and cutout with a bullet.
Benefits? Make the people in the lane next to you **** their pants.

I gained 10hp and 1tq but I have a stock exhaust with a cutout. I did it mostly for the sound. I love punching next to people and watching there face.

I gained 15rwhp and 8 rwtq with mine open.

Sounds awesome too....except at cruising.
