Brake pedal padding fell off..

Brake pedal padding fell off.. Okay so I was feeling something moving around in my foot well while driving around. I looked down and saw my brake pedal rubber pad thing looking back at me. It is ripped or torn in the back where it fits on so what should I do about it? Remove it and consider it weight reduction, glue that bastard on there, or get a set of pretty looking aftermarket ones?

I vote leave it off, mine fell off the first week I had my car and its been sitting in the door pocket ever since. Just watch out if you are wearing nice shoes the pedal has a tendency to scuff them up!
