Default Finished installing white needle kit & AL bezel

I was having a slight problem seeing my needles at night after I changed the gauge color to green. I found a white/clear needle kit from US Speedo. The kit's needles are a little shorter than ours in the Trans Am/Camaros. After trimming a little of the end where the needle goes onto the gauages they fit fine. At this time I installed an aluminum bezel piece. I accidently cracked the TA's while attempting to cut it free from the clear plastic. Luckily, I had the clear piece left over from a Camaro gauge cluster. Here's some pictures.

Thanks for the compliments. There are several threads that have the write up. One is by infinitereality and one by Keliente. I did a search for blue interior, blue LEDs, and LEDs. I did the radio, headlight, HVAC, and door panels a couple of months back. Here's a link to the thread on them. This is a fun hot rod project. Next step is sound system upgrade, 12-bolt rear end, brake upgrade for this year. Next year is new Corbeau seats, interior door panel mods, HID head light & fog light upgrade. I plan on putting a 408 motor in to get 500 rwhp in the final phase of the project.

when you removed the needles did you have any issues with reinstalling them and getting them to read correctly?

I turned the key to the 'ON' position and took pictures w/ a digital camera for reference. It take a little patience and some time, but I got them pretty close.

I cracked my TA's clear plastic piece that goes over the black plastic trim bezel. Luckily, I had the clear plastic piece from the Camaro SS gauge cluster I bought. Taped the bezel onto the gauge face and put the Camaro piece on top of that. Then Demonbird sent me his write up for cutting the TA bezel into sections to put the aluminum piece in. Once it was in he expoxied the pieces back. Much easier than trying to cut the glued sections with a dremel. Overall the Camaro method was the simpliest.
