Car is at Bodyshop, NIGHTMARE BEGINS w/pics
Well I dropped off my car sunday nite April 29th for work to start today/ April 30th. I didnt call or bother them and then tonight at about 9:50pm curiosity got to me so i took the 20min ride over to see if it were atleast pulled in. To my surprise the car is inside and already being taken apart. Thus starts the part where I'm not happy already. I see the wheels laying face down which if the chrome is scracthed will be just splended, then I take notice to the windows down in the nicely dusty body shop. As these may be minor things the METAL YELLOW TOOL BOX SITTING ON MY FN ROOF THATS NOT BEING PAINTED REALLY FN PISSED ME OFF!!!!!!!!!! So I drove home, drove back and took some quick shots with a so so camera but gets the point across.

First bunch of pics show the nice METAL yellow tool box sitting on the uncover, not to be painted roof. I'm it was laying down with tender care, and has a rubber scuff free bottom to it thats made out of baby diaper or something that someone would sit such a thing on paint of car... right?
So do i call first thing tomorrow and ask the bodyshop manager to walk out to my car with me on the phone while asking as he walks out... "are you painting the roof to my car?"..... Cause that metal tool box says you are!!! OMFG!!! If you realize how much I told the manager and wrote on the drop off envelope how I will be very **** about the car of how its treated and looks once returned to me. OMFG!!!!!!!!!!

Its hard to tell all those thing from those pics. I cant tell if the window is down, or where the wheels are, or if the toolbox is made of metal. Could it be plastic? Could there be a shop rag under it that you cant see? Either way, sorry youre upset.

Yeah gotta love body shops! I have had my SS hood sitting for 2 months! It's my fault for not being on the guy. Seeing how he is a freind. If she ain't painted in a week I am takin it elsewhere. People don't give a **** about the car if it's not theirs. hence all of our door dings in the quater panels! *******!

This just in, had the GF stop by ask what guy was working on it, asked what he was driving and she went out walked on top of the car and pissed on his roof.
OK back to reality. She stopped in and said theres even more on the roof, nothing underneath and she was so upset she just left and didnt say anything, The car has white dust all through the interior of the car and most panels are off the car and sanded. Said the manager gave her a look of WTF do you want when she asked to get something out of the car, and the guy that took her back to get it something out of the car.

id go down there and tear him up. you are trying to fix one problem not create another and have to pay more money to fix another problem they caused. When you confront them some how its your fault.. i hate body shops no one cares anymore. I think of it this way, theres nothing worng with your money when you pay him and there should be nothing wrong with your car.... i had my door and hood painted and had clear coat overspray all over my whole car???? i'd let him have it..

When I slid my right rear quarter panel of my old camaro into a jersey barrier I sent it to one of my good friends dad to have it fixed. Supposedly he does good work...wrong...I get overspray on my rear tail lights, on my chrome z06 wheels, dust in my car, and the shittiest paint job ever. I go to get the car and I refused to pay him once I saw the shitty job they did. He looked over the car with me and agreed to redo it (one of his NEW guys at the shop did the work while he was on vacation, or so he claims). They did a great job the second time around, but I was without my car an extra 3 weeks. I still to this day dont believe him as how could he not notice the shitty job his new body guy did on one of his family friends car.
