383 Lt1
well after not being able to work on the car for a week because i was at school i went home found the problem i was having and crank my car right up. i didnt have the ground hooked that went from the battery to the body ground post so it was draining the battery and not giving the starter enough juice. cranked up first try, oil pressure jumped right up, and it sounded bad ***. im going to put the y-pipe on this weekend and load it up to go to RPM to get tuned. Ill post numbers as soon as i get them.
some specs on the motor:
2 bolt LT1 block bored 30 over
Eagle forged crank
Scat 6" h-beams
Ross pistons
TFS heads with Manley valves, flowed 270 @ .550
Comp Cam similar to 305
Comp 1.7 rockers
ported stock intake
37# Racetronix injectors
Pacesetter LT's w/ ORY
3" Dynomax bullet
3.73's with stock 10 bolt(soon to be 9 inch)
any predictions as to what kind of power I'll make would be nice. I'm guessing between 425 and 450 at the wheels and run in the mid 11sec range on MT's.

i made a mistake before. the cam is more like a 503. the life with 1.5 rockers was .537/.533. so if i figure correctly the lift with 1.6 rockers should be .573/.569. any better predictions with the correction in the cam? i still think i could go bigger but for now ill stick with this one, just want updated predictions.
