Default Help on with my system

Ok guys again I am in need of your help, I have a custom box that fix down in the trunk part it is for 2 10s. I have 2 volfenhag 800watt dual coilovers that im gonna drop in with a 1000watt volfenhag amp. My question are: Does the box need to be ported? How exactly do I hook up a doal coilover sub up? What would look the best covering the box? Finally do I need a power cap?

Thanks In advance.

You mean dual voice coil?

Try checking Volfenhag's site, they might give recommended box configurations.

We need more info on what exactly you have.

And no, you don't need a capacitor.

(1) - No (well....I doubt it).

(2) - Voice coils in series or parallel....then subs in series or parallel with one another in the configuration that will give you the final impedance you want.

(3) - That's up to you.......matched carpet always looks best for mobile applications IMO.....unless you're going for some show car fiberglass setup.

(4) - No.

huh? You don't "need" to do anything -- what do you want?

It sounds like you would be better off sticking to sealed..
