Default Luk Clutch Kits

Has anyone ever heard anything good or bad about this brand? I'm gonna get this installed as well as the tranny rebuilt in a day or so. Just looking for some info, thanks.

i know that my LS7 clutch had LUK stamped on it. I think that they make most if not all gm clutches.

I've read through some threads on this board jus searching for LUK and scanned a few clutch threads. Haven't seen anyone say anything bad about them.

Well that makes me feel a whole lot better. Is it an OEM replacement or something a little bit better?

Luk is in fact an OE clutch...In truth, having looked at both their standard and Gold units there is really no difference. Clamp Load is no greater. That being said, you pay some money for the "Gold" name. As a side note, we are capable of testing and providing specifics on other clamp loads in comparison to stock assemblies. This would not be done as a "pro-spec" statement but rather as a informative point of reference. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will be happy to see what I can do! Thanks,
