What are good Brakes for stopping power
Im intrested in getting better brakes for my 00 A-4 Trans am. It has some mods so it has good horsepower. Right now i just have the factory brake system and ceramic pads on the car but i want a better system that has better stopping power. I was thinking maybe cross drilled/slotted with better pads. Anyone offer any suggestion on name brands . Thanks

Just remimber that the only time u need better rotors and pads is to stop a number of times. Can u turn ur abs light on with ur current brakes? if yes better tires will do more to stop ur car than better brakes

I have the Baer Eradispeeds and Hawk pads on all four corners. Significant improvement over stock. The stock calipers have some good clamping force so if you are on a budget, I would just replace the rotors and pads.
I think I paid around $700 bucks for the rotors and pads.

The most economical setup is going to be Brembo blanks and Hawk Pads along with a brake fluid change. All of this for under 400 bucks and will feel night and day difference from what you have now.
