Installing a 1/2 din EQ under a 1 din aftermarket HU, help please!!! Can someone give some directions on how to mount a 1 din hu and a 1/2 din eq in the dash together? Is there a bracket that will do this or will something need to be fabricated? I have serched everywhere and I cannot find anything that seems to look like it would work.

You are going to have fabricate a design. In the past, some aftermarket plastic install car kits had a slot to install an EQ under the radio. My 89 Mustang install kit had a slot. I have never seen this for an f-body. So you would basically have to get brackets and mount the metal outside piece of the radio frame to the EQ and then somehow shove it into the dash. But the hardest part would be designing the plastic molding that would go around the radio and EQ to make it look nice and stock.
